2018 RIBSA Summer Camp
The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association (RIBSA) have just announced details of their 2018 Summer Camp. The dates are the 27th, 28th and 29th of June in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow.

The All-Ireland Billiards Championship, which has not been held since 2009, was revived as an additional feature match during the 2016 Four Nations Billiards International at the Ivy Rooms, Carlow on 19th and 20th of November last. Doyle wins Senior Billiards 3
The third tournament of the Senior Billiards series was played at the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club, Carlow on Sunday, 18th of December 2016, the format being 90 minutes timed (all rounds). Reigning billiards double champion, and newly appointed All-Ireland billiards champion, Wayne Doyle, by winning the final by the closest margin we’ve seen for a long time, regained his position at the top of the season’s rankings.
Bulman wins Under 16 Ranking 3
Ross Bulman from Youghal CYMS won the third RIBSA U-16 Snooker Ranking Tournament of the season in Newbridge CYMS Snooker Club in Newbridge Co. Kildare on Sunday the 18th of December. In the final Ross knocked in the tournament high break of 64 in beating Aaron Goldrick from Cavan 3 frames to 1 in a great match.

Michael Judge Wins Masters Event 3
Michael Judge made it the perfect weekend when he won the third RIBSA Masters Ranking event of the season when he won ‘ The Ivy Rooms Masters Classic‘ and earlier in the day Michael won the third Senior ranking event ‘ The Presidents Cup‘.
Leinster Club Championship 2016
The 2016 Leinster Club Championship was played over Sat/Sun 3rd and 4th December in the Ivy Rooms Carlow. After the group stages the old reliables of current champions Kilkenny Shed qualified to play Newbridge CYMS “A” in the 1st Semi-final and former all-Ireland champions Q Club Wicklow played Potters Drogheda “A” in the 2nd.

Ryan McGurik won third RIBSA U-14 Snooker Ranking Tournament of the season in the Newbridge CYMS in Newbridge on Sunday the 27th of November. In the final Ryan beat Joe La Combre 3 frames to 2 in a great final.

The winner of each of the three Event receives a place at the European U-18 Championship in Cyprus in March 2017.

This event was held in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club, Carlow on Sunday the 27th of November. The winner of each of the three Event receives a place at the European U-21 Championship in Cyprus in March 2017.
