Jack is National 18 Champion

Jack O Brien from St John’s in Limerick is the new National U-18 Snooker Champion. Snooker & Billiards Ireland held the 2025 National Finals Weekend in the Snooker & Billiards Ireland HQ in Carlow this weekend the 17th and 18th of May where we crowned 13 National Snooker & Billiards Champions.

Jack won his National Snooker Championships in style to add to his previous U-12, U-14, U-16 National Titles. Today Jack had a super win over Joe Shannon from Longford 3 frames to 1 in a great match.  The match was refereed by Conor Doyle.

SBI President Jim Leacy presented all the awards to the winners and the High break went also to Jack O Brien. It has been a fantastic year of top class snooker in this category and SBI hope to build on this success next season.

SBI had our new Live Scoring on all 8 tables.
