Shane is Level 1 Class Referee

Congratulations to Shane Mason who was awarded his Class 1 Referee’s Badge this morning here in Killarney after being assessed by Steve Starkie (EASB) Desi Stinson (NIBSA) and Neil Shannahan (RIBSA).

Shane has been a snooker referee since 2014 with RIBSA and has graduated from Class 3, to Class 2 and is now a group of eight Republic of Ireland Class1 Referee’s.

Being a top graded snooker Referee now means that Shane can continue on to bigger and better things on the International front and his hopes are now to progress in Refereeing in the Professional Arena.
